Hundreds of groups file amicus briefs on health law

Nonprofit and advocacy groups joined together in coalitions, or acted independently, to try to sway the Supreme Court deliberations on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. More than 130 amicus briefs were filed, reportedly a record high.
